SCHOOL/STUDENT/PARENT COMPACT
Under Section 1118(b) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), each school receiving funds under Title I, Part A must develop a written school/parent compact for all children participating in Title I, Part A activities, services, and programs. That compact is part of Bradley Creek School’s written parental involvement policy. This compact outlines how parents, the entire school staff, and students share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement and the means by which the school and parents will build and develop a partnership to help children achieve the State’s high standards. Therefore:
Bradley Creek Elementary School pledges to . . .
- Adhere to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study that will be taught to your student in a supportive and effective learning environment that enables your child to meet the State’s student academic achievement standards;
- Provide highly-qualified teachers who will teach the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
- Schedule parent/teacher conferences and student led conferences throughout the school year.
- Provide interim and quarterly reports on your student’s academic progress (conferences, progress reports, report cards, telephone, zoom meetings, e-mail)
- Provide enrichment and differentiated instruction for your student to meet academic, behavior, and social and emotional needs
As a student at Bradley Creek Elementary School, I pledge to . . .
- Respect myself and the rights of others in order to build positive Relationships.
- Attend school regularly.
- Follow the Code of Student Conduct - F.I.N.S- Friendly, In Charge of Self, Noble, and Safe.
- Come to school dressed appropriately, with necessary materials, and prepared to learn.
- Ask my teacher when I do not understand.
- Read daily.
- Bring home all notices and information received from school in my school folder.

- Provide time for Reading Daily;
- Make sure my child attends school regularly.
- Stay informed about my child’s education and communicate regularly with my child’s teacher.
- Read, sign, and return my child’s interim progress report and report cards;
- Support the school staff in its efforts to promote appropriate behavior.
